I was really surprised by how nice the rustic cabins were. They did have a coffee maker, towels, soap/lotions, ice bucket, and nice beds with pillows. Place was very clean. I took away one star due to the noise of mice crawling around underneath the cabin. Kept us up a few times during the night.
I stayed in the campground, but the little store was really nice and carried the essentials. Prices were high but not as bad as could be expected. They don't have a lot for perishables such as bread, but they can help your ice cream or marshmallow fix. They also have pp&j as well as the usual stuff.
The location is awesome. The "motel" we stayed in could have had a different setup. The pillows were kind of bad. If you stay there bring your own unless you like sleeping with a tortilla after 5 minutes.
The gift shop section was also not bad, and carried more than the visitor centers. ~$20 for a shirt which is average. They also have bear spray, binoculars, some hiking bags, and a few other basics.
Great friendly staff. Dinner was good(spaghetti and meatballs), breakfast (biscuits and gravy) not so good. Price was on the high end, but that's expected. Overall, you can't beat the location. They also have great sandwiches in the store and is a good way to save a few bucks over eating at the restaurant​
Just stopped in to refill my water bottle after a hike. They have a restaurant, motel rooms, and a small gift shop. Public restrooms are nice and they have a water bottle thing at the drinking fountain which is very convenient. Benches outside and couches in the lobby if you need a place to sit.
The showers were really expensive, but after a week of hiking they are almost worth it. I paid $5 for 8 minutes of water in Aug of 2017.
