Very nice hotel it is not a super 8 anymore. Can be loud on the south side because of the highway
Don't stay here!!! We had to moved between 2 rooms and we found both very unclean: toilet, bathroom sink carpet and bed sheets were all looked like it was never cleaned after last guest. Manager was very not helpfull dealing with our complaints.
A week has now passed since we checked out and and I have had to call them a couple of times to find out how long it will be before our credit card is credited for the refund for the one night. Supposedly it will be processed within the next few days. Supposedly. The sticker shock sets in when we were informed that the refund will involve an "Admin Fee" thus we will not receive full credit for the refund.
Our main disappointment was related to the billing process. As a career long heavy business traveler I always expect the billing for the room to be finalized upon checkout. When we make reservations for a specific number of nights most of the time we will spend that number of nights in the hotel but now and then plans change and we may need to check out early. This hotel bills for the expected number of nights upon checkin. Thus when we informed them that we would be checking out a day early, they had to put in a request for a refund for the unused night.
Another reviewer also mentioned that the hotel is no longer a Super 8 but is now Travel Inn. We were notified by email of the change prior to our arrival. That change did not bother us as we were not looking for any particular brand loyalty.
This motel is no longer a Super 8, its called a Travel Inn. The staff never informed me. The bed was worse than sleeping on concrete with rocks as pillows. The room was clean and quiet and they offered a limited breakfast. If you have the option stay somewhere else.
So, if you are considering staying there, be aware that you will pay the entire bill amount up front and it will be a bit of a hassle and cost to you if you elect to check out early. I guess it goes without staying that for any future visits to the area (for Glacier National Park) we will look for a different place to stay.
Other than the typical thin pillows and overly firm mattresses this was a great place to stay. Clean, accommodating, and a great value. Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.
The amenities were pretty much average and what would be expected in a hotel in this class. To us, a hotel or motel is just a place to spend the night in reasonable comfort and safety as we're always out pretty much dawn to dusk and only returning to the room to wind down a little and sleep overnight.
