Don't walk away from Cost Less, run and be glad you did.
I often require carpet and laminate replacement in the properties I manage and three times I went to Cost Less, where I used to get very good service, and they have either failed to show up all together when I needed the area measured and quoted first, or it never got passed the installer's failure to call to set up the installation. Needless to say I will no longer use them and only use Smith's Carpet in Kalispell. Never have I had such a hard time trying to give money to a company for a job. I also agree with a previous poster regarding their installers. Most of them are questionable at best and should be regarded with care.
Update: My wife and I appealed to Cost Less to remove the installer who cheated us from their list but they have refused essentially saying his practices are commonplace in the industry. Don't be victimized, go elsewhere.
Update 10/31/2015: After realizing the installer used fraudulent square footage figures to overcharge us nearly 20% we demanded a refund from the installer and once again brought his unscrupulous business practices to Cost Less' attention. The manager of Cost Less assured us the installer would send us a check. The installer, too, promised repayment. We have received nothing. Worse yet, the installer is still on Cost Less' referral list.
Great prices on what we purchased: a whole house-full of flooring (tile, carpet, stone, granite). Only complaint is the granite installer cut granite crooked and refused to come back and regrout cracks because of failure to glue down granite. Not really a compaint from company other than the company should not be using this installer.
Think twice about using Cost Less Carpet. Unless you're doing your own installation you're probably better off going elsewhere. Cost Less recommends and supports installers using questionable business practices. We were the victims of either horrible craftsmanship or outright theft. From an individual recommended by and well known to Cost Less. Save yourself the heartache and shop elsewhere.
